This hidden track, Jacob's Ladder, explores the many ways that we try and bridge the gap between where we are, in pain on earth, and an eternal life without tears beyond our grasp.

The ladder represents the way out of our distress made possible by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, the Christ. It is called Jacob's Ladder in reference to the vision of a ladder that Jacob had in the book of Genesis in the Bible and draws on the following verses and passages in the Bible: Genesis 28:11-14, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, 1 Timothy 2:5, 6, 1 Corinthians 1:20-25, 30-31
